Abacus Building Components has been trading since early 1996. Our small, successful company is a national distributor and installer of sliding and folding partitions and operable walls, useful where the flexibility of space is paramount. They are suitable for meeting & conference rooms, offices, canteens, dining rooms, function rooms & childcare centres.

We provide Woodfold solid concertina partitions with a laminate or hardwood finish; these are available as simple visual screens or with a degree of acoustic control if required. Another of our Woodfold products is the Alumifold Security Door, suitable for a variety of installations that require strength together with beauty & function. They are eminently suitable in medical locations, being hygienic and easy to keep clean.

The Woodfold range also includes bookcase doors (looks like a bookcase but it’s really a door)…attractive & extremely functional…it offers a space-saving option for closets, pantries, wall safes, wine storage, home office, or hidden rooms.

In addition to the partitions described, Abacus also provide high quality cloakroom benching made from powder coated mild steel frames with hardwood or solid laminate slats…extremely popular in schools, changing rooms etc. These benches can also be provided as heavy duty for prisons.
